This is how we take responsibility

Our quality and environmental management system ensures that we meet our stakeholders' requirements. A strong business sector and thriving agricultural land go hand in hand, and therefore we actively work with environmental and sustainability issues for both people and nature.

Minimize waste

We actively work to minimize waste. Food that is not used is put to use through initiatives such as Maträtt and Waste Fruit. The rest is sorted for organic recycling in collaboration with Remondis.

Quality assessment

Everything we buy undergoes a careful quality assessment from the start to avoid unnecessary waste.

Climate zones

We use climate zones in the warehouse. If the raw materials aren't at risk of spoiling, the temperature can be raised to save energy.

CO₂ footprint

We place requirements on our carriers and, in a new project, collect data on their CO₂ footprint.

Social responsibility

We require all suppliers to sign our Code of Conduct, which covers social responsibility.

ISO

We work actively with quality and sustainability through our certifications according to the ISO standards. These are based on a philosophy of continuous improvement and help us develop our business, our processes, and our leadership. Through annual audits, we ensure that we continue to develop and that our certificates remain valid.

ISO 9001 means that we start from our customers' needs and continuously develop our working methods to meet their expectations in the best possible way.

The certification helps us to

Support continuous improvement in our operations

Meet and exceed our customers' expectations

Ensure structured and documented quality work

Increase employees' participation and responsibility

Strengthen our risk management

Improve collaboration with our suppliers

ISO 14001 is an environmental management system that helps us carry out active and structured environmental work. Through the system, we work to reduce our environmental impact, use resources more efficiently, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

The certification helps us to:

Identify and reduce our environmental impact

Reduce energy consumption and improve waste management

Optimize the use of resources and materials

Increase the use of renewable resources and systems

Strengthen our sustainability efforts and our credibility with customers

Create structure in the work on environmental goals and monitoring

Work with a life cycle perspective and risk assessment

Ensure that we comply with relevant laws and regulations

IP Food

IP Livsmedel ensures that our products and processes meet high standards for food safety, quality, and traceability. This guarantees safe and secure products for our customers.

All staff at Aroma have completed HACCP training. HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) is a standardized working method that describes how to systematically identify, assess, and control hazards in food production with the aim of ensuring that food is safe for the consumer. Within the EU, companies that handle food are required to apply HACCP.

Echo

We are certified to handle, pack, and sell organic goods. Sustainability and organic products are a high priority for us, because we want to be able to offer our customers products that are both environmentally friendly and responsibly produced.

Recycling

As part of our sustainability efforts, we are affiliated with NPA (Producer Responsibility of the Business Community) in accordance with the requirements of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. This means that we actively contribute to a circular system by financing and ensuring the collection and recycling of our packaging waste.
