Behind every Poppy orange are dedicated growers in the small villages of Bugarra, Quatretondeta, and Llutxent, just outside Valencia on Spain's sunny east coast.
Here, citrus cultivation has been a natural part of life for generations, and the knowledge is deeply rooted in both the soil and the people.
It is in this landscape that Poppy gets its character. The growers work close to nature, with great respect for the climate's impact and the fruit's development. The combination of mild days and cold nights during the winter creates optimal conditions. The flavor builds up in the warmth, while the color develops in the cold.

The season begins around November, but it is during January and February that Poppy is at its absolute best. That is when the climate is most favorable, and the oranges reach their full potential.
