Pumpkin
October – November

Swedish cooking pumpkin is an autumn favorite that is harvested in the fall, and is most popular in kitchens during October and November. Pumpkins grow slowly throughout the season and are allowed to ripen in the field, which gives them their natural sweetness, firm texture, and rich flavor.
They come in many different shapes and colors. Pumpkins are very versatile in cooking. They can be baked in the oven, boiled, made into soup and gratins, or used in baked goods such as pies and bread.
We also have decorative pumpkins, especially for Halloween, when we offer both small decorative varieties as well as large classic Halloween pumpkins.
